This form is to capture the information required by Basildon Council to verify and make these rebate payments. Where a rebate payment is issued, the person/s that according to the Council's records were the taxpayer in respect of the household on 1 April 2022 is eligible to receive the rebate. Where Basildon Council has reason to believe that the information that we hold about the taxpayer is inaccurate we may withhold or recover the payment.
Before you start the form you will need
* Your most recent council tax bill for 2022/23 or your Council Tax reference number
* Your latest bank account statement
Payments will be made by BACS to your bank account. You will be required to self-certify that on 1 April 2022, you were the liable Council Tax payer (or would have been if you property wasn't exempt).
